According to Figure, the deployment marks a significant step, moving the robots out of test environments and into "real production operations."

The short video clip, shared via Figure's official X account, shows a humanoid robot picking up sheet metal parts from a container and placing them onto what appears to be a conveyor or processing station. This deployment is the first tangible outcome shown publicly from the commercial agreement Figure signed with BMW Manufacturing in January 2024.
