The Beijing Yizhuang Half Marathon, scheduled for this Sunday, has been postponed to April 19 due to forecasts of very strong winds, organizers announced Thursday. The event is notable for its plan to have humanoid robots race the entire half marathon course alongside human participants for the first time.

The company, known for its SE01 model capable of a front flip, plans to boost R&D, production, and international expansion amid growing China-US competition and falling robot costs

Logistics giant GXO is piloting humanoid robots from Agility Robotics, Apptronik, and Reflex Robotics in its warehouses. While optimistic about their multi-task potential driven by AI, the company notes current limitations in dexterity and scale, using its facilities as 'labs' to provide feedback.
