UBTECH Signals Walker S2 Mass Delivery with ''Robot Army'' Video

Shenzhen-based UBTECH Robotics is signaling a major shift from contract announcements to product delivery. In a new video released Tuesday, the company, known as the "first humanoid robot stock", revealed it is set to begin mass production and delivery of its flagship industrial robot, the Walker S2, in mid-November.
The move aims to start fulfilling a rapidly growing order book that has surpassed 800 million yuan (approx. $113 million USD) this year.
The short video provides a dramatic visual of the company's production scale. It features a large door opening to reveal rows of Walker S2 robots standing ready. Drone shots over the assembled units are overlaid with text stating, "11月中旬检 开启量产交付," which translates to "Mid-November inspection, beginning mass production and delivery."
UBTECH Walker S2 Army 🤯 Soon to be delivered to customers. They already have over $100 million in orders this year.
Imagine a humanoid robot autonomously changing batteries in a factory, working 24 hours a day. UBTECH's WlakerS2 is starting a new journey. Autonomous battery replacement, more compact and flexible than WalkerS1, faster and more human-like natural straight knee walking. Can't
This public display of production readiness follows a series of high-value contracts. UBTECH's 2025 orders topped 800 million yuan after securing a 159 million yuan (approx. $22.4 million) deal in early November for a "Humanoid Robot Data Collection Center". This followed another major 250 million yuan contract announced in September from an unnamed "well-known domestic enterprise".
The Walker S2 model at the center of these deals is designed specifically for industrial applications. Its most heavily marketed feature is its autonomous battery-swapping capability, which UBTECH has called the "world's first" for a humanoid robot. This system, highlighted in its recent 2025 MUSE Design Award win, is designed to enable 24/7, non-stop operation, a critical demand for its target customers in EV manufacturing and logistics.
These deliveries are critical for UBTECH. Successfully shipping industrial-scale orders is essential for the company to prove its commercialization strategy and justify its surging stock price, which has gained over 150% this year.
Despite revenue growing 27.5% to 621 million yuan in the first half of 2025, the company posted a net loss of 440 million yuan , with revenue still largely driven by its legacy educational and consumer robots. The company stated earlier this year it aims to deliver over 500 industrial humanoids in 2025, and this video serves as the first major visual evidence of that push as competition in China's humanoid sector intensifies.
