Watch: Unitree Previews "Cluster Cooperative" Tech with Mass Humanoid Performance

Following its high-profile martial arts routine at the 2026 Spring Festival Gala, Unitree Robotics has released new footage demonstrating the technical foundations of its mass-robot coordination. The company’s latest videos highlight its "Cluster Cooperative Rapid Scheduling System," a platform that allows dozens of its G1 "Kung Fu Bots" to move with the synchronicity of a drone swarm.
Confidence in the "Cluster"
In a notable clip, Unitree CEO Wang Xingxing is seen moving casually through dense formations of G1 humanoids while they perform coordinated runs and vertical leaps. The demonstration appears designed to signal a high degree of confidence in the robots' balance and collision-avoidance capabilities.
"Cluster Cooperative" Swarms
A second video published on Unitree’s official YouTube channel showcases a fleet—composed of the same "Kung Fu Bot" model (G1) —forming dynamic shapes and messages. Much like the coordinated drone light shows that have become a staple of global celebrations, the G1 fleet used its "Cluster Cooperative Rapid Scheduling System" to form a new year greeting on the studio floor.

Unitree pointedly noted that the footage is "not AI-generated" and "not sped up." The real-time nature of the "cluster" coordination suggests that Unitree has made strides in low-latency communication between units, though the exact positioning system remains unknown. While the studio floor features visible markings, it is unclear if the robots are using external markers (like OptiTrack), on-board SLAM, or a high-precision local positioning system to maintain their tight formation.
