- XPENG is targeting H2 2027 for IRON’s European rollout, following a late-2026 mass-production target and H1 2027 delivery start.
- Initial commercial uses are planned for XPENG sales centres and company sites, including guided tours, shopping assistance and patrol support.
- European pricing, launch countries and sales arrangements have not yet been detailed in the reported announcement.
XPENG is targeting the second half of 2027 for a European rollout of its IRON humanoid robot, adding a regional timetable to its previously announced plans for international deliveries next year.
Founder and CEO He Xiaopeng presented the schedule at XPENG’s Paris Night event on October 11. The presentation sets out three milestones: mass production in late 2026, deliveries beginning in the first half of 2027, and a European rollout in the second half.

Commercial settings first
The Paris presentation places commercial applications ahead of industrial and household uses. It gives no dates for the latter two stages, so the European rollout target should not be read as a commitment to sell IRON for home use in 2027.
That sequence is consistent with XPENG’s September production announcement. The company said its first commercial deployments would take place in its sales centres and on company premises, with an initial focus on tours, shopping assistance and accompanying patrols.

Production preparations are underway
XPENG announced the commissioning of IRON production lines in September, saying a completed robot had walked autonomously off one of them. The company said more than 80% of the facility’s core processes were automated, while retaining its target of starting mass production by the end of 2026.
The September statement described market launches and deliveries in China and international markets during 2027. The Paris schedule narrows that window for Europe, although it remains a company target rather than a completed deployment.
XPENG’s Paris Motor Show announcement places humanoid robots alongside cars and flying vehicles in its exhibition, reflecting the automaker’s broader push into physical AI. The show runs from October 12 to 18, following the Sunday evening event where the IRON timetable was presented.
